The field at Tenney Stadium was dedicated to Dr. Alex Leonidoff in 1968 where the sta`duim was able to hold 2,500 people. Over the years, Marist athlectics moved up in the NCAA divisions, where it began as a Division III college to what it is now as a Divison I school. In 2006, Tim Tenney, who is the CEO of Pepsi-Cola, gave Marist College a donation to build was we now know as Tenney Stadium. In 2007, Tenney Stadium was completed with new stands, press boths, training room, locker rooms, restrooms, and concessions. The Tenney Stadium we have today can now hold 5,000 people.
