The original building is now demolished now.

Chas Chadwick was the developer for the large building which was later named after him. The building had a classic, sophisticated style. The building was put on the National Historic register in 1983. Unfortunately, the Chadwick was destroyed in a fire in January 2011, and then delisted from the register.
