The first little red school in this location was built in 1865. That building was destroyed by a fire on July 4th, 1899. It was replaced in the same year by a lovely two story white building. Which was also destroyed by fire in 1971. A new school was dedicated on March 30th, 1974 by the Masonic Grand Lodge of California with a cornerstone ceremony. Currently the school odders instructions in grades kindergarten through eighth grade.
