The Tavern has been a tavern for over 100 years, just about unbroken, since its conversion from a private home in 1916. Speaking of haunts, just like most places its age, The Tavern is said to have a ghost. Some guests have claimed to experience the ghostly spirit of a young woman named Emily. It's not uncommon to hear phantom footsteps during your late evening game of pool. You may even feel a tap on the shoulder or slight pinch on your arm even when nobody is around.
