About: “Together We Explore the Wild” was commissioned in appreciation of the life of Shawn Hagerman, family man, outdoorsman, canoeist, camper, fisherman, hunter, photographer, hiker, meditator, poet, and health and fitness enthusiast. He found peace and joy in exploring the wilderness alongside his family and friends. George Pratt carved the children riding on the bear as a tribute to Shawn's joy in sharing his love of the outdoors with family and friends.
