Tsing Chuen Wai (青磚圍), named after the building materials of the walled village - Green Bricks (青磚), was built by the To clan during Qing Dynasty. The village had four watchtowers and surrounded by walls in order to protect the residents from pirates and bandits. Most of these walls were destroyed in 1960s, only one of the bricks walls is left.
