Veterens Park is a monument in honor of individuals from Fulton that were forced away from the city in the 1940's and 1950's, and on their way overseas to fight in the war. The Fulton Veterans Council puts on many events each year to honor veterans from the past. Later a book was published remembering many of the veterens from Fulton called "The Heart of Fulton at Home and Abroad: World War II and The Korean War", this book helps show what is was like the citizens of Fulton's families during these years of war.
