Washington, DC is known as the USA's capital. DC is also known for it's amazing structures and memorials honoring the nations history. One amazing structure is the Washington Monument located on 15th Street. This building is not hard to miss because it was the tallest building in the world upon it's completion in 1888. The Washington Monument is important because it represents the gratitude and respect the nation felt for it's most essential Founding Father. Washington DC is listed before Olympia, WA because it is the capital of the country.
