The original building that the pub stands in was known as the Munro House and it was built sometime in the 1800's. Some say that the reports of ghost activity at the location can be dated back to the 1960's. Today, patrons of the pub state that they have seen the ghostly figure of a revolutionary war soldier, The spirit of a girl named Sara, or the friendly spirit of a man named Harry. It is said that Harry died on the premises when he had a heart attack on either the 2nd or 3rd floor. and Sara committed suicide by hanging on the 3rd floor. Staff members and customers have claimed to have heard footsteps, seen orbs and apparitions, felt random cold spots or have even been pulled or poked while in the building.
