I invite you to close your eyes and engage your senses, to see, hear, touch, taste, smell, and feel. Take
a moment to stand still in the heart of Sholom Park, acknowledging the gentle swaying of the trees, the
fluttering leaves, the diverse melodies of birds, and the subtle movements of the wildlife around you.
Inhale deeply, absorbing the forest's unique scent. Slowly take your attention out of the external world,
and move your attention within, welcoming the gift of each moment; exhale, letting go of the past,
letting go of yesterday, letting go of this morning and stepping into the now.
Breathe deeper and slower . . . Allow yourself to fully immerse in the present moment.
Let the breeze delicately brush your skin, connecting you to the Earth beneath, syncing your heartbeat
with nature's rhythm. Envision the sunlight filtering through the forest canopy, infusing your essence
with its radiant glow. Allow its comforting warmth to thaw all your secret shields and defenses. There
is no need for them in this sacred space.
Sense how the wind’s airy touch envelops your presence, delicately sweeping through every cell in
your body, taking with it all your thoughts, all your anxieties, all your concerns, and all your fears. To
your surprise, they effortlessly slip away into the wind. In this moment, peace finds a home in your
heart, and your mind embraces a soothing calm.
Pause for a moment to inhale deeply, relishing the purity and innocence carried on the gentle breeze.
Breathe in the peace and stillness provided by the trees.
As you step into the Zen Garden, carry this inner serenity with you, ready to embrace the stillness and
beauty that awaits.
