Whiskey Hollow Rd. is located between W Dead Creek Rd. and County Rd. 120 in the town of Van Buren in the Syracuse area. It is a very dark forest road about 5 miles long that is filled with uban myths about ghosts, satanic rituals and KKK practices. It is said that two of the ghosts that are known to raom the road are those of a man and his wife. It is said that the man was imprisoned in a shack somewhere along the road and died there awaiting his corporal punishment. His distraught wife then decided to hang herself in a nearby tree when she heard the news. Drivers say that they have seen apparitions, had feelings of unexplained sadness and heard weird sounds when walking or driving down the road.
