White Nosed Coatis are on average just over 3 and a half feet long- but about half of that length is made up by their tails. This long tail is used for balance and signaling. Their upturned nose can rotate up to 60 degrees in any direction, and double-jointed ankles allow it to descend trees head first. White- Nosed Coati are pollinators, and help pollinate the balsa tree by drinking nectar from the tree’s flowers, spreading pollen with their snouts.
