This Iconic piece of history in Hudson earned its name because where the rotary is, there used to be a store called Solon Wood and Company dry goods and grocery store, which was owned by Mr. Wood. The building was burned during the Great Fire. The town purchased the land, removed the building, and created Wood Square, which serves as our center of town!
