A pair of semi-detached dwellings built in the garden of Studland in 1897. The architect was Vixseboxse who was once State Architect, first in the Transvaal Republic and later in the Orange Free State. The building is plastered and. the front wings are painted in imitation of red face brick, while the gables have Queen Ann type wood ornamentation. It is well preserved in its original state and is a good example of the architecture of its period
