Yau Ma Tei Theatre is located at 6 Waterloo Road. It is a Grade 2 historic building built on 21 June 1930. Its representative features include the Chinese pitched roof, gable walls, the Art Deco façade and Dutch steel trusses and timber purlins for roof support, two pillars at the front entrance, and the original proscenium and interior walls of the stage. It opens from 1 pm to 8 pm daily. There are some guided tours that you can join to know more about the theatre. Each session lasts for around 1 hour and entertains a maximum of 4 people. It is free of charge and first come first served. If you are interested, you can contact them to register. Red Brick House and Yau Ma Tei Theatre now have been revitalized as a Xiqu Activity Centre.
