This site plays a vital role in promoting Chinese Opera now and film history in Hong Kong in the past.
This site was built in the 1930s and was the only theatre that has survived before WWII in the Kowloon district. However, it had stopped operating in July 1998. For now, this theatre became a performing stage of Cantonese Opera in 2012, providing a place for people to train and cultivate Cantonese opera talents.
This point of interest is part of the tour: The Past and Present of Yau Tsim Mong
