My paintings which are done in series, are an attempt to show beautiful locations whose natural integrity has either been altered by human intervention or is about to be. What is the cost of our imposition on the virginal status of these lands and the inhabitants therein? Open year round.
Painting with dyes on silk, as well as with acrylic on canvas and wood, Mary’s impressionist style images portray the fluid dance of sky, land, water and wind, often including local flora and fauna. After a half century of making meaning through art, her enthusiasm for Canada’s landscape continues to flourish. Mary’s artwork graces public and private collections around the world, winning awards such as the International White Raven Award and the National Outdoor Book Award.
