The uniqueness of the beautiful coastal town of Horseshoe Beach and its cultural heritage is ready to be discovered! The Big Bend Shellfish Trail guides you through points of interest where you can learn about Florida shellfish, aquaculture, marine environments, and how you can protect the water quality that makes shellfish thrive!

Learn more about where to eat and where to buy local shellfish. Keep an eye out for the many areas along the trail where you can view working waterfronts of shellfish farmers and fishers as well as beautiful coastal landscapes and vistas. It’s all waiting for you to explore!
