What You'll See on the Tour

Welcome to the Downtown Burlington treasure hunt! This hunt begins at the Elizabeth Street parking lot and will take approximately 30 minutes to complete. Enjoy!
Take a look at the building in front of you (LCBO), can you guess what it used to be? Click "Play Audio" for a hint!
This is the location of one of Burlington's first fire halls.
What do you see coming out of the fence? What do you think it is? How do you think it got there? Can you make up a story about what you think will happen next?
The different colours of "ooze" coming through the slats of the fence is a relief sculpture titled "Main Squeeze". It was created by Brad Hindson and Mitchell F. Chan of the art and design collective Studio F Minus in 2018.

This bike rack, titled "Rainbow Fish" was created in 2010 by regional artist Jen Hsieh as part of a series of 24 bike racks in 6 different designs located in Burlington's downtown core.
