The Mississippi River alone provides miles of recreation, exploration and excitement, the Mighty Mississippi is a great playground in itself. There are full-service marinas and convenient RV parks. The recreational trail extends 4.8 miles from Riverview Park to Eagle Point Park in Clinton.

Fishermen will find a variety of fish including northern pike, pumpkinseed, carp, rock bass, bream, bluegill, sunfish, bullhead, crappie, flathead catfish, white bass, walleye, smallmouth bass, muskie, sucker, largemouth bass, panfish, perch, catfish and pumpkinseed sunfish here. Whether you’re spinning, baitcasting or fly fishing your chances of getting a bite here are good.
