Tour Information

John B. Denton College was originally located around the current site of the Denton Senior High School complex. With the sale of the college building to Denton City Schools in 1912, it was converted to the first Denton High School in the same year. Growing enrollment at the school prompted more residential development in the surrounding area, which included the establishment of residential lots on Panhandle Street.
