Pulaski County Missouri offers up some of the most scenic river sections in the state. 10 outfitters offer scenic float trips along the Big Piney and Gasconade River. Plan your next get-away; book your hotel room, cabin, or RV rental and hit the river. To plan your trip visit the PulaskiCountyUSA website.

For those that haven't floated before you contact the outfitter of your choice. Decide on how long you would like to be on the river and the outfitter arranges your transportation to and from the river. You also have your choice of floating on the river via canoe, kayak, inner tube, or raft! Life vests are provided. So pack a lunch, water/sodas, swimsuit, sunscreen, bug spray, be sure to wear sneakers or water shoes. Bring your tackle to fish for goggle-eye and bass. You might also want to bring your waterproof camera and take shots of the beautiful bluffs, Missouri wildflowers and wildlife; turtles sunning on a log, deer, birds, fish, and dragonflies
