Kindness Tour

Start this tour at the parking lot at Mulberry and Second street where you will see our brand new Kindness mural. You are one short block away from Main Street and loads of unique, distinctive shopping and dining opportunities. This tour includes other sites which demonstrate kindness to others. Visit Hargen Mathews childrens park which is handicapped enabled. Visit our Award winning River walk with Memorials and rememberances of many of our contributing citizens. See the Shipleys Mural highlighting the notable events in the storied history of this small river town. Pass by the Madison Courier office started in 1835 by Mathhew Garber noted anti slavery newspaperman. Stop for a rest at Firemans park where volunteers feed the homeless every Saturday all summer long.
