Tour Information

Be sure to stop by the Morehead Visitor Center, located at 150 East First Street, inside the former train depot, for a walking tour guide and to possibly catch a tour in action.

Our tour features information on some of the most renowned sites in our community best known in years past as 'where it all began' as the Rowan Feud sparked in the streets of Morehead.

Hear stories about the highs and lows, successes and sadness. Walk in the footsteps of our history while stopping along the way to refuel at a local eatery or shop in a local business.

We plan to add more locations to this wonderful tour but for now, ten stops will give you a glimpse and make you want to return for the rest of our historical story.

Enjoy!
