A landmark of the Grand Strand, The Original Benjamin’s Calabash Seafood serves fresh local seafood daily. Our award-winning buffet is world-famous for introducing the Myrtle Beach area to cooking seafood Calabash style. Calabash cooking originated in Calabash, NC and is known as lightly battered and deep fried.

From the moment you enter, you’ll realize it’s more than just a restaurant. The Original Benjamin’s is home to one of the largest model ship collections in the world. As you tour the restaurant you’ll encounter many displays full of the work of our master shipbuilder Jimmy Frost. From small displays to the 30 foot Queen Elizabeth Model you’ll notice when you enter, there’s so much to see and do.

We also feature a huge nautical museum throughout the restaurant. At every turn you’ll find historic collectibles and unique displays showcasing artifacts collected from all over the world.

What You'll See on the Tour
