Raised river walk along the Skykomish River. ADA accessible.
Music in the Park
A day of free music at the beautiful Town of Skykomish Ballpark. The 3rd Saturday in August.
Railroad Avenue Park
Home to the Open Air Markets, May–September, (3rd Saturday of the month), 11am–3pm, featuring local artisans.
Town of Skykomish Ballpark
Located just east of town on the Skykomish River. Features include a ball field, playground, and outdoor kitchen. Reserve a spot in this jewel of the valley any time during the summer and fall.
Depot Park Pump Track has a pump track for learning and honing mountain bike skills. There are also several area trails where mountain biking is now welcome. In addition to winter skiing, Stevens Pass also offers summer mountain biking.
Maloney Creek Trail
Located on Thelma Street is a short (0.2-mile)
forested stroll, ADA accessible, overlooking
a clear, rushing creek.
Great Northern & Cascade Railway
Free mini (1/8th scale) train rides, May–October, weekends and holidays, 10am–4pm. Also, host to JJ Hill Train Festival in August.
This project is brought to you by the Town of Skykomish, supported in large part by a Port of Seattle Economic Development grant, and implemented by Seco Design. We worked collaboratively with members of the Skykomish Historical Society and the Skykomish Chamber of Commerce to develop the directory.
