It started with the exhibition "Modernismo em Tavira" on the occasion of the celebration of the birthday of Álvaro de Campos in Tavira in 2018 with Photographs by ANAFA photographers and curated by Isabel Macieira.

Fernando Pessoa - one of the most famous Portuguese writers - chose Tavira as the birth place for one his heteronyms: Álvaro de Campos, the figure who would come to be considered the typical poet of modernity, of civilization and of what is technical in the contemporary world. Every year the birthday of Álvaro de Campos is celebrated in Tavira with exhibitions, concerts and performances.....
