111 South Seventh: was the residence of State Representative Farley and was built in about 1892. The Farleys’ son Charles was Postmaster of La Grange from 1953-1958 and was one of the organizers of the La Grange Citizens’ Council. Mr. Farley represented this area in the 43rd and 44th General Assemblies. The house has also been the property of another political leader, U.S. Representative (Oklahoma) Pres Peden.
