Information

Built in 1862, this home is attached on both sides. Its red brick facade matches those all around it and also the narrow front entryway mimics many other homes along West Church. The front door, though narrow, is a double-door with red wood on the bottom third and glass one the top area. To left of the front door is a much smaller and narrower door made entirely of wood, showing signs that it is a servants entry. Standing out above the front door is a large bay window which is very unique to this walking tour. Along with the bay window there are two single hung windows, one on the first floor and another on the second, and these both have a Palladian style half round window sitting above them. This home looks similar to many others that surround it but has distinct traits which help set it apart from the others.
