Built in 1848 for Isaac Gerhard, first minister of the Evangelical Reformed Church, this 2-1/2 story Federal-style residential building built in red brick and attached on the right side to a house that may have been a twin. The doorway fronted by a stoop and metal railings features a double doors each with two wood panels below and large glass panes above. The door is topped by a transom window and narrow header. To the left are two sash windows with louvered shutters, and narrow headers and sills. The second floor has three identical, yet smaller, sash windows. The metal gable roof with snow guards is pierced by two ornate six over six sash dormer windows. These windows are topped by triangular pediments and flanked by stylized pilasters.
