This two-story brick residence was built ca. 1836. Originally it had just four rooms, two on the first floor and two on the second. it has been expanded considerably as one can see from the rear of the structure. On the facade, it has two windows on the first floor and three windows on the second floor. All are six over six sash windows with uniform headers and sills that were enlarged in 1870. The red trim on the windows matches the red five paneled door topped by a small transom window. A small stoop with one railing leads to the front door. The structure is topped by a slate gabled roof with two chimneys. The balconied extension at the back of the building almost doubles the size of the house.
