316 S 6th Ave – This house was built in 1908 by J.C. Llewelyn for Charles Vial, the grandson of Joseph Vial, and was a charter member of the LaGrange Area Historical Society. It is a Colonial Revival style with aluminum siding over clapboard. The dormer is hipped. The porch is flat roofed, with a front portico that has broad, fluted column supports. Note the copper gutters. The house was remodeled in 1915 and the plans are in the files of the Historical Society.
