Classic style. This was the home of Mrs. Emilie Todd Helm, Mary Todd Lincoln’s half sister. Mrs. Helm moved here from Elizabethtown, KY, during the Civil War after her Confederate General husband was killed at the Battle of Chickamauga. She was the organist at Christ Episcopal Church.
