Declared the finest example of Art Deco architecture in Davidson County, the former Thomasville City Hall stands proud with tis vertical design, setbacks from the entrance bay, and facade decorated with stylized ornament in stone. Opened in 1938, the building was a WPA project built to accommodate Thomasville administrative offices, the City jail, and Fire Department.
