Dutch Apple

Scientific Name: Malus domestica

Summary: This is a fruit-bearing tree that has white flowers in the spring and summer giving way to apples in the fall. There are two Dutch Apple trees on our property that produce apples that are good for sauce and pie. The reason that I picked this tree is because it has been on the property for a very long time and is important to the people who live on the road.
