In the winter this area of Maine does not experience as much snow as northern Maine but it still does get some. In the spring there is a lot of mud so if you are visiting it would be best to wear mud boots and bring a winter jacket as it is still cold. In the summer it drys out and warms up there is not a lot of rain but it still happens. In the fall we receive a lot of rain so bring a rain jacket, mud boots, and/or an umbrella. There is a lot of snowmobile and four-wheeling trails that run through the woods. There are many other trees on the way and the drive during the fall is very pretty.
