Godwin Farm Biodiversity Preserve

Four Cedars

Information

Look around. You will see one bunch of trees together. To some people, these trees looks like one giant tree, but really it is a group of four trees grown close together. These trees were planted by Mr. Godwin himself to show as a sign of stewardship and care for this park which has been around for 45 years. Mr. Godwin was a cardiologist, but he had a hobby of planting trees. He ordered seeds at home and picked them up on vacation all over North America, and even got some from his patients. Look carefully at the trees. You can notice how tall the trees are compared to the others around you and know they have been there a very long time.
