Information

Come look at this shack that may look old and rustic now, but years ago this building was the Godwin's garage and part of their house. It was built in the year 1971. Mrs. Godwin said they used it to keep their tractor, a generator, and many more things. Outside of it, they used the empty space for parking their cars, and they had a small well which they used quite often. The west side of the building was used for a driveway and the two trees by it used to have a hammock. The east side of the building was used as the parking lot and it has beautiful purple flowers on the back of the amazing building in Spring.

The City of Surrey has plans to use this in their further phases of building in building in this park. You can see that, and more information, at Godwin Park’s website.
