This classic double wedding ring block whose maker is unknown comes from a favorite quilt of the late CeCe Medford. CeCe and her husband Allen Medford were quilt collectors, and this double wedding ring was CeCe’s favorite.

James M. Brown Elementary School was selected as the site for this lovely block in recognition of CeCe Medford’s time as an educator in Walhalla. Under the tutelage of Jane Boling and Lynn Geiben, UHQT production team members, Fourth and Fifth grade students painted the Double Wedding Ring quilt block in 2012.
