Japanese Meadowsweet

Scientific Name: Spiraea japonica

Summary: This is a small shrub that grows in front of our horse barn. It has small flowers in the warmer months and the small green leaves turn red in the fall. I picked this plant because it is interesting to see the flowers and it attracts both bees and butterflies in the summer.
