The original Kwong Fuk Bridge was built in 1896 during the Qing Dynasty
In 1898 and 1957, the British Hong Kong expanded the bridge to a four-line two-way traffic-crossing bridge
In 1986 the original bridge was removed and became a footbridge that we can see today
