Lam Tsuen Wishing Trees

The Lam Tsuen area had over 700 years of history since the Song Dynasty

According to the traditional culture and local superstition, people believe that the banyan trees of Lam Tsuen had a magical power→ make the wishes come true

How: Write wishes on the multicoloured joss paper which is called po dip (寶碟) and attach with string and plastic orange

Then throw up the po dip onto the wishing tree

The higher it lands in the tree, the more likely the wish is to come true !
