Ohio buckeye (Aesculus glabra)

This is a very adaptive tree that can be found in a number of different ecosystems including around mature tree stands and is most often found in wetter areas but in areas that do not remain wet for long. the tree in the picture is in Birdsboro PA and can be found by driving down Jefferson st. the tree will be on your right as you drive through the area.

I haven't seen this tree around in my area ever so I thought by adding it to the tour it would be a cool break from all the common trees in my area.
