Pitch pine (Pinus rigida)

This pine tree is very adaptive and can grow in many places around my area. you can find this tree most commonly in riparian areas but can be spotted in dry areas such as the side of roads. in the picture, this tree grows on the side of the road on the corners of green and willow street and can be seen from the road.

This tree is around and I didn't know what it was before I took this class so adding it seemed like a good idea for this tour.
