Location Description: Quaking aspens are found in diverse, mixed conifer forests, hardwood forests, in rocky to clay to sandy soils at elevations up to 10,000 feet. This tree is found at the front of a pure stand of quaking apsen that is found right after the chain link fence ends.

Reason for Including: This tree was included because it is noticabley distinct in the sense that it is part of a pure stand. All the trees are small and young so as time passes it will be intresting to see how this stand develops.
