River birch (Betula nigra)

This tree likes to get its feet wet and can be found in and around wetland areas and doesn't mind the full sun. the tree in the pictures is at the corner of my property and can be seen easily as you drive down the road on your right.

This tree is an extremely common landscaping tree and the tree in the pictures is no differnt. I thought I would add it to the tour because if you come to my area you will see it around.
