The crossing is no longer here, or possible to re-instate. The Mornington branch line originally crossed the Point Nepean Road at this location. It was known as Rail Motor Stopping Place No. 16 and a small earth mound platform was erected either side of the highway. The higway was not as substantioal and as busy in those days.
The railway easment extends from Baxter Station to this point. The section from here to Yuilles road and has been sublet by MRPS which provides essential funds towards its operations.
