Smooth sumac (Rhus glabra)

BI203 final project tour

Smooth sumac (Rhus glabra)

Reading, Pennsylvania 19606, United States

Created By: Jacob Edward Gardner

Information

This species of tree likes to grow in disturbed areas and can grow very quickly. they tend to grow in places not easily survivable and in places such as the sides of roads and behind commercial buildings. The picture of the sumac is from behind the lowes in Exeter PA and can be seen very easily if you were head to the back of the store.

These trees are invasive and adding them to the tour can help people visiting my area to understand that they shouldn't be here.

This point of interest is part of the tour: BI203 final project tour
