Stone Wall – in Gunn Park
This wall, begun in the late 1970s, shows the craft of Cliff Erratt, farmer, amateur stonemason, ball coach, and builder of community. It is a tribute to pioneers and was a labour of love. Cliff was encouraged by his wife Helen, nee Kirkham, a dedicated educator and an editor of Saltcoats Roots and Branches history book.
