Scientific Name: Acer pensylvanicum
Summary: This tree is typically found in shaded moist areas, this one is found in the woods behind my house. It is normally mixed in with conifers and other hardwoods. It is distinguishable because of its striped bark and the three-lobed leaves. The reason that I picked this tree is because of the bark, it is an interesting difference from the other Maple trees.
